Went this evening with my partner, and was appalled by the level of service from the staff. When it came to ordering out waiter was very standoffish and seemed annoyed that we had not made a decision yet - when we were ready he was very quick to get it over with, which was not a very enjoyable experience. I overhead who seemed to be the manager of the floor exclaim to their staff, that they had not yet made our drink, despite us sitting there for 10 minutes already after ordering. The food was not much better than the service. It was bland and did not have much flavour - the beef bolognese was very watered down and the linguine carbonara was extremely under seasoned. Not once throughout our meal was we checked on to see if everything was okay. Overall we were very disappointed with our experience and left quite frustrated.

We visit Brighton Ask frequently as a great place to meet up with friends. This visit we tried new additions to the main menu, the sea bass and the Funghi Della Casa. My pasta was very generous portion and tasty. My friend commented on the new Sea Bass, saying she much preferred this one to the old one.
There were some new staff faces and Andy was very friendly and efficient, asking if we wished to move to a quieter table when a family group arrived unexpectedly.
Full marks, and yes we will be going again shortly.

We had stumbled across this wonderful restaurant, delicious food, the truffle pizza and king prawn tagliatelle blew us away. The best glass of red wine I’ve had in so long. Andy was a wonderful server. Dessert was scrumptious ! 100% recommend.
